Architect of Record for $75M, 40,000 sf expansion, renovation, and modernization of the existing Adult ED. Functioning as a main hospital entrance, the new glass pavilion and limestone recladding create a symbolic architectural statement, complementing the adjoining historical buildings. Construction will be completed in 6 phases, scheduled to be completed in 2017.

Bridging documents for a new 170,000 sf  campus-style U.S. embassy in a mixed-use area. Buildings, centered around an outdoor plaza, are designed to address security restraints while providing a welcoming, aesthetic, and technologically advanced design.

Associate Architect and medical planning expert working with Davis Brody Bond on feasibility through consruction of Adult ED modernization. The renovation doubles the number of treatment spaces in one of New York’s busiest EDs, reorganizing workflow toward patient-centered care and establishing lasting infrastructure.

New LEED certified center for the evaluation and treatment of children and adolescents with Austism Spectrum Disorder in historically landmarked gymnasium. This groundbreaking center addressed challenges of designing for users with autism by using architecture as an integral feature of treatment.

Comprehensive Lung Center

Design and development of $10M state-of-the-art outpatient medical offices for thoracic surgery, pulmonary, and thoracic oncology practices, creating spa-like patient centered environment. Shaped and implemented multi-phase relocation plan with facilities development and end-users.

Herbert Irving Pavilion 5th & 6th Floors
New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center

Renovation of 30,000 sf on two floors of an existing medical office building for seven outpatient specialty practices. Improved visitor and staff flow with open reception area, taking advantage of natural light. Led design with end-users and facilities groups and construction administration, including temporary and permanent relocations.

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center

Off campus 3,000 sf health center for hospital employees, including reception area, exam rooms, nurse station, and offices. Identified and addressed end-user vision for the space, implementing the project under stringent budget and schedule constraints.

Methadone Clinic
Montefiore Medical Center

New 4-story Methadone treatment clinic funded by DASNY. Headed construction document phase, completing exterior and interior details, coordinating with MEP, structural, specification, and cost estimating consultants, and delivering documents meeting $10M budget.

Outpatient Rehabilitation Center
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center

Schematic design through construction administration for conversion of two floor office space to physical therapy rehabilitation center with reception area, offices, exam suites, and treatment gym. Designed and detailed millwork, interfaced with constultants, wrote specifications, reviewed submittals, and completed close-out.
